Dubai is a city of endless possibilities. What most people like about the area though is that there is no income tax. Of course, it also helps that the area is safe and politically stable too. Anyone living in the area will also enjoy great healthcare and educational systems.

So, if you find yourself being drawn to a life in Dubai you may be wondering where you should settle in and make your home at. With all the hustle and bustle of this modern city, you’re going to want somewhere quiet to escape from the stress of everyday life.

Here are some of the areas that you may choose to consider for rental in this regard:

1. The Dubai Marina district is highly sought after thanks to its beauty and luxury.

2. The Jumeirah Beach Residence area (known simply as JBR for short) will cost you top dollar but if you have the money, it’s definitely a place worth considering. Here you’ll be located just opposite of the beautiful beach on Bluewater Island, which makes this a very exclusive and desirable area of Dubai. You’ll find a lot of luxurious villas here.

3. In downtown Dubai real estate is also highly sought after. This is the heart of the city, which is bustling with activity. Not only are there landmarks like Burj Khalifa here but you’ll also find the Dubai Mall, which is the world’s largest shopping mall, boasting of 1,200 shops.

4. Al Barsha is also worthy of consideration even though you’ll have overhead power lines everywhere you look.

5. The Arabian Ranches development is located away from the heart of the city, making it nice for anyone who doesn’t like all the noise. This is a great place to raise a family or play a round of golf or polo. The only real drawback would be the long commutes.

6. In Umm Suqeim there’s a mix of both old and new residences. While some of them are a bit run down, others are beautiful mansions. Rent in this area is fairly reasonable but not cheap since you’re by the beach. The schools, shopping and medical facilities are good here with the only real drawback being congested roads as people head to the beach.

7. L’Safa has both villas and family homes that surround large green parks. This is a great place to live if you’re raising a family but you’ll have to drive anywhere you need to go.

8. Wasi is similar to L’Safa in that it’s a great place to raise a family. Here too you’ll find plenty of villas and family homes bordering green parks. The only drawback here is you’ll need to drive anywhere you want to go.

Regardless as to where you choose to call home, you’ll find that you’ll be safe. You’ll have lots of shops located nearby so that you can purchase everything you need too. So, take a tour of these neighborhoods and decide for yourself which one you’d like to call «home.»
